It happened through out last week at Indira Nagar, Bangalore. Truly divine experience. It was the first nama sankeerthanai i ever attended. I just went inside thinking that they will say Hari Om or some chantings. (not that i thought chanting names will be less enchanting. but i was afraid i may get bored after some point.) But unlike my imagination, the bhajan turned out to be a wonderful experience. Vittal Das was able to involve the audience in his bhajan songs. The last VITTALA VITTALA chanting gave me goosebumps.
people from all age group were present and i was happy to see that bangalore houses such huge chunk of spiritually inclined people.
Lord Narayana is an ullasi. With two wives either side, He enjoys life thoroughly. As Lord Krishna, He enchants gopikas and heartily eats butter from every house at Gokulam. so for me, Narayana means celebration, happiness and enjoyment. The bhajan brought in the same feeling to the audience.
I wish more such things happen at bangalore. I will be happy if such a nama sankeerthanam houses Lord Shiva's song also.
